$KOIN
$KOIN is a score, not a token. It is soulbound: it cannot be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed or converted, there is no market for it and there never will be, and it is worth exactly zero.
It measures one thing — how long you stayed with the projects you backed. It does not pay you for staying. That is deliberate, and it is the whole design.
What it cannot do
- Be transferred to another address
- Be sold, swapped or bridged
- Be redeemed for anything
- Confer any economic entitlement
There is no code path that moves a $KOIN balance between addresses, and a test asserts it. The guarantee is mechanical, not editorial.
The cruel twist
Someone wins big, the pig gets happier, he KOINKs less, and the vault fills slower. Everyone loses, the pig gets sadder, he KOINKs more, and the vault fills faster.
Optimal strategy is collective suffering.
Ranks
Ranks confer cosmetics, community access and eventually community-layer governance signal. They confer no economic entitlement of any kind. Separately, holding raises your K-4 conviction multiplier to a ceiling of 3× at twelve months, which affects milestone voting weight and nothing else.
The trillionaire prophecy
69 trillion $KOIN over 99 years. Divided across a billion tokens, that is 69,000 $KOIN each for anyone who never leaves.
Worth nothing then, worth nothing now, worth nothing forever. That is the point.
